Air Force Command Headquarters Released a Press Release Explaining “Has the F-16 Been Struck Down? Tension Between India and Pakistan Escalates, and Taiwan Got Involved Accidentally”. (March 1st, 2019)
Regarding the media coverage of “Has the F-16 Been Struck Down? Tension Between India and Pakistan Escalates, and Taiwan Got Involved Accidentally”, the Air Force Command Headquarters has stated today (1st) that after investigation, the batch number of the missiles mentioned in the media coverage are not used by the Air Force, and they do not match the existing weapons and equipment used by the Air Force; the command headquarters hereby request everyone to stop circulating unverified news to avoid confusions.
The Air Force Command Headquarters hereby clarify that all of its procured American equipment can only be used by Taiwanese fighter aircrafts and are prohibited to be used by a third country without the authorization of the United States of America according to the regulations.
